SGV Foodtruck Fest Has a New Home!
Jun 30th
Due to issues with City of Industry regulations concerning food trucks, we are (hopefully temporarily) de-camping from our awesome hosts, SpeedZone, and moving about 3 miles down to Southland Christian School on 1920 Brea Canyon Cut Off Rd Walnut, CA 91789.
This new location has plenty of parking while still providing a great venue for eating and EATING. There’ll be plenty of chairs and tables as well as a guest DJ to provide that grub’n music. What’s also great is there won’t be an entrance fee!
Since this new location was sort of short notice, we’ll be working with a smaller but kick-ass roster of trucks for July, but we’ll have the whole gang and more for next month.
We hope to see you guys there: Same time, different place, but definitely the same flavor!

Are You Ready for May’s Trucks?

The awesome line-up for May 2011 has been posted! We’re pleased and excited to host for the first time, pop-up dining impresario Chef Ludo’s Ludo Truck and the Jogasaki Burrito Truck. Ludo Truck is on CBS Los Angeles’ list of best fried chicken in Los Angeles, you can’t miss this one! Jogasaki Burrito features a sushi and burrito mashup and was well recommended by L.A. Weekly’s Food Truck Friday column.
Back in rotation are Crepe’n Around, Slammin’ Sliders, Me So Hungry, and the Komodo Truck. Check the full line up HERE.

Our April Line-Up is Amazing!

Hi all! This month’s San Gabriel Valley Foodtruck Fest is brought to you by Sam’s Club! This awesome weather is also bringing awesome new trucks, but first a few announcements:
- Parking & Entrance Fee Changes: We had a great partnership with Lowe’s who helped out in the past months when SpeedZone’s parking lot overflowed but the busy spring and summer months has made it difficult for Lowe’s to extend the parking space for our attendees. Fortunately SpeedZone has helped us acquire additional parking nearby but it added a few expenses. We’ve had to lease this parking space for the night and to offset the cost, we’ve been forced to raise the entrance fee from $5.00 to $6.00. However, we’ve also raised the playable credit from $4 to $5. PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT LOWE’S. There will be signs directing attendees to the new parking area which will be opened at 6:00pm, right around the time SpeedZone’s parking lot becomes full.
- Line-Up Changes: Due to scheduling conflicts, one of our resident trucks, Grill ‘em All will not be at this month’s SGVFF. In their stead, we have invited an brand new truck, Waffles de Liege, who serve the most killer authentic belgian waffles. Please check them out!
- Start Time: We’ve bumped up the start time of the SGVFF this month to 5:00pm to take advantage of the awesome weather.
Yes the rumors are true! The Grilled Cheese Truck will be making an appearance at SGVFF along with a bunch of first time trucks! Here they are (Check HERE for the full line-up):
